Lu Yanpeng: Open Air

This atmospheric collection of photographs won Beijing-based artist Lu Yanpeng the top award of Best Photographer at the 2011 Pingyao International Photography Festival. Born in 1984, he is the youngest artist ever to receive this honor.

For his solo show at Moganshan Lu's m97 Gallery, expect beautiful pigment prints on rice paper depicting mountainous landscapes to hazy cityscapes, all cast in a theme of light and darkness.
