Kool Shoes in SH
March 23, 2010, by Natalee Blagden
Dutch architect Rem D. Koolhaas will make his mark in Shanghai this spring, with shoes, glorious shoes!
United Nude, the women's footwear brand founded by Rem D. Koolhaas and Galahad Clark, has been prancing through the recession on a growth curve, so they're expanding. The shoes are selling in over 30 countries worldwide, and a new flagship store is opening right here, in early May.
Design Inspirations: The Charles and Ray Eames chair. Helixes. F117 Fighter planes. Lo resolution 3D models.
Location: The media contact for United Nude tells us the Shanghai Flagship store is already under construction now, someplace on Huaihai Lu.
The Big Day: Opening is slated for early May.
