Your Guide to Creative China

Vhils in Shanghai

February 3, 2012, by CH Staff

New York street artist Blanco recently paid a visit to China, checking out the graffiti scenes in both Shanghai and Beijing on the way. Be sure to check out street art blog Brooklynstreetart.com for some of his findings, musings and observations from sites as diverse as Moganshan Lu right through to the Great Wall.

On his travels he spotted a pretty amazing looking mural by VHILS – most likely part of the Portuguese artist's forthcoming exhibition at 18Gallery, prior to which he's spreading his striking chisel-carved walls, acid-engraved metal and laser-cut works across Shanghai. That opens on 31 March and for details, click here.
