Dates for your diary...
February 10, 2012, by CH StaffHere are two cool Shanghai events than any creatively-minded individuals out there should definitely put in their diaries for this February.
First up is a fun-sounding evening courtesy of Pitchen Networks at Mexican eatery Mi Tierra, aimed at celebrating the myriad creative freelancers and entrepreneurs residing in our fair city. As well as pretty awesome mingling and networking opportunity, artworks will be on show illustrating some 25 of the most innovative and downright creative marketing campaigns out there. As well as awards for the brightest talents, there'll be a lucky draw with stellar prizes including a HK registration package and desk space at XinDanWei as well as goodies from the likes of LOMO and mrkt. That's on Wednesday 22 February, click here for details.
Later that week, consider checking out Service Design Jam at CBi Bridge, part a worldwide happening that will see creative problem-solvers develop brand new services inspired by a shared theme... in just 48 hours. Basically, it's a group of designers, students, business folk or whomever coming together to bounce ideas off other people and together, create something new, learn new skills and have fun. By the end, your team will hopefully have a concrete design, prototype and plan of action for a new business, service or whatever. Sounds pretty fun to us – that kicks off Friday 24 February and runs through Sunday. More on that one here.
