With WOLKOV he design and develop limited edition of high quality products for analog lovers, worldwide. He also provides full art direction and strategic design management to plan and develop products, brands and retail spaces. Since 2018, his work for MONAMI (fitness equipment) has won him several international design awards and the launch of its own product line (dual dial watches) has been a major step into the high-end product & brand development field.
Fissler China commissioned us to develop a complete new PROFi line targeting Asian consumers. This was a joint project between Korean, Japan, and China distributors aimed at developing new products with local cultural elements. The project runs for 3 months as we keep refining concepts to please all 3 different markets. Final selected concepts are confidential and are being developed back in Germany by the Fissler HQ.
Early concepts were shown as possible advertisment using very eye-catchy layout and visuals. The idea was to showcase the potential of each concept, beyond its plain logical functionality.
Some basic market researches were conducted, we compared existing offering from Fissler as well as from their main competitors in a similar segment. We also analyzed all existing handle design to define a basic vocabulary of shapes. Finally, we developed some design concepts to illustrate strong directions.

Some overview of the early sketches we did while brainstorming our first set of ideas. After 1 or 2 days of research, this phase represents a good day of work that enables us to put down all ideas quickly. The next phase is about refinement before we select only handfuls of concepts to share with the client.
