The Account Manager is a job that requires a mix of account planning, client management skills and marketing expertise. 

The right candidate is a skilled marketer or communications professional with agency experience and native Chinese language skills, along with proficient English skills. Experience with digital campaigns, brand strategy, or general marketing is a must. Prior agency experience is required.

Job Description

You will work on a wide variety of marketing activities including digital campaigns, WeChat content cases, development of marketing collaterals, brand strategy and other activities to support our clients. Daily activities include coordination of projects, working with clients, responding to briefs, and ensuring work meets the high standards expected by our clients. The right person can lead a team and can quickly advance in our company.

Builds an understanding and knowledge of our clients’ businesses and industry from a marketing perspective, and ensures that projects exceed our client’s expectations. Participates in proposals / pitching. Works across the board with our project teams to manage branding, marketing asset creation all the way to delivery of digital campaigns.



Client Problem Solver

  • Work directly with clients – in meetings and in daily correspondence. Anticipates problems and solves them proactively.
  • Ensure highest standard of all deliverables in coordination with the project team.
  • Comfortable to present in front of clients

Marketing Expert

  • Activate knowledge of branding, marketing, digital, social media and communications to campaigns and projects
  • Up to date with latest marketing and communication trends
  • Experience with B2B industries, especially food ingredients, automotive, health technology, chemical and materials is a plus
  • Recommend strategic and tactical options and ideas

Project Excellence

  • Lead client brand and communication workshops
  • Coordinate client projects with the project team, from initial brief to final delivery
  • Able to brief creative/PR/digital departments with detailed requirements
  • Proofread copy to ensure the deliverables are of the highest quality
  • Prepare reports, proposals and presentations
  • Creates quotes/cost estimates and can prepare profit and loss (P&L) reports for each project

  • Can positively manage a small team
  • Works well with both Chinese and international colleagues
  • Not afraid to voice own opinions and proactively participate in brainstorming
  • Open to change – continuously learning and improving own skill set as well as company abilities
  • Take ownership of personal outcomes and responsible for team’s results
  • Can become part of the Brandigo “family”



  • 3+ years’ work experience in advertisement, PR, or digital marketing as AE, SAE, Manager or related marketing job (AE positions may be considered also)
  • Native Chinese equivalent language ability (including reading/writing) and excellent English skills
  • Familiar with key marketing concepts and trends, especially digital, social media (WeChat) and brand strategy
  • Strong project management and multitasking skills
  • Ability to ideate, share, and develop creative ideas together with the team
  • Up to date with current topics and China internet/social media topics
  • Has excellent communication skills and a proactive work attitude
  • Strong proposal editing and creation
  • Is a self-starter with a high level of self initiative
  • Chinese national or has a China working visa
