Role and Responsibilities

As a Junior Space Designer your primary mission will be to assist the Senior Interior Design Manager to create, manage and execute our customers’ retail design and visual merchandising.

Projects will range from flagship stores to counters and pop-up stores mostly in shopping malls or travel retail, both in Hong Kong and China.

 

About the Job

  • Develop space plans using software such as Sketch up, Illustrator, Photoshop
  • Generate furniture plans and specifications including 3D’s and elevations
  • Develop color schemes with material and finish selections
  • Communicate with factories about pricing and technical details
  • Manage projects on time and with high quality standards
  • Source, manage and update a materials library
  • Cooperate with other interior and graphic designers
  • Participate in ideas generation and researches
  • Contribute in meetings or brainstorms with innovative ideas
  • Other duties as may arise from time to time

 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor of Arts or equivalent; specialization in Space design. Additional knowledge of Product design would be considered as an advantage
  • Proficient in major interior design software:
    • Mandatory: Sketch up, Illustrator, Photoshop
    • Optional: Auto cad, 3D Max
  • 2-3 years of experience, preferably in the Cosmetics industry
  • Creative and energetic
  • Problem solver with a desire to learn
  • Very good team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Good English proficiency
