Company Description

Studio Stare is a video production company based in Shanghai. We produce videos for clients all around the world but our core business is helping global companies produce branded films – ranging from documentaries to advertisement – for all digital channels in China. We develop creative, produce and finish the films in-house.

 

Job Description

We are looking for an Account Manager to create a long-term, trusting relationships with one of our key clients. As the coordinator of all communications between client and Studio Stare, you will ensure our productions follow client’s global guidelines and standards, and at the same time are locally viable. Together with our producers you will manage all projects and timelines for production. You will lead pitches for new projects, help improve existing ones, and work closely with our creative team in all phases. If you are a strong communicator, and up to the challenge to strengthen our client’s communication on a variety of digital channels, we would love to hear from you.

 

Basic Qualifications 

  • Minimum five years experience in similar role, ideally working with branded content primarily for digital
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (CN and EN)
  • High level of analytical and organizational skills, and excellent attention to detail
  • Thorough understanding of client and their business/industry
  • Fluent Chinese and English

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or digital communications/marketing or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A good understanding of social media platforms in China
