How did China fall in love with Chilean wines?
Origin is a main selling point in China’s $2.7 Billion imported wine marketplace. In 2016, Chile, the country, inspired ‘nothing’ to Chinese wine consumers. By the end of 2017, Chile lead the wine preference chart, dethroning France, according to Baidu index survey, China’s Google search.
From a +400 entries casting competition, we selected and sent a young Chinese couple on a honeymoon in Chile to experience Chile's unique variegated landscapes and taste its wine diversity.The result was a docu-fiction mini-series, that has organically attracted +25 Million views, bottling cultural insights and emotions Chinese consumers can now recall when purchasing Chilean wine.
