Interior Lifestyle China Coming Soon
Messe Frankfurt, the world's largest trade fair and event organizer is bringing Interior Lifestyle China back to the Shanghai Exhibition Center, the venue it was last held in 2012. Messe Frankfurt stated the reasoning behind this move from its previous venue at the Shanghai New International Expo Center is to provide attendees with an even more accessible location. Unlike the annual Furniture Expo which showcases a wide range of indoor and outdoor furniture, this is the only trade fair in China that focuses solely on mid-range to high-end interior design products. The trade fair will run from September 14 to 16.
What To Expect
This year's trade fair is expected to rival last year's figures at 384 exhibitors from 14 countries covering an area of 22,000 square meters floor space. The product group with most exhibitors was Home Living, followed by Dining. Even more impressively, the 2016 trade fair boosted a total of 21,420 visitors from over 50 countries in a span of three days. The majority of these visitors were interested in houseware and attended the event to seek product variants or initiate new business relations.
There will be exhibitors from four main product zones this year.
1. Home Living: Interior decorations, small furniture, lighting, houseware, home textiles, health & fitness products
2. Dining Trends: Kitchenware, tableware, small electric appliances
3. Chic Gifts: Design & trend oriented gift articles, arts & crafts, gift stationaries, designers, design studios
4. China Premier Supplier Zone : Platform for wholesalers, brands and integrated businesses
Participation fees for raw spaces are placed at 1,960rmb per sqm for Zone A and 1,560rmb per sqm for Zone B. A minimum of 9 sqm for Zone A and 36 sqm for Zone B is required for raw and studio space.
Deadline for exhibition application is June 30, 2017 (Payment due in full for applications after May 31). Remember to contact the organizer to double check on payments.
Check out the Application Form for more information on what you will be paying for.
What is interesting and unique about the way Messe Frankfurt promotes the trade fair and its exhibitors to potential retail partners is through a series of roadshows throughout China. This year, the roadshow will take place in Nanjing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Changsha, and Suzhou. The roadshows will end in July, but exhibitors who register now are still able to participate.
